The Air Jordan 13 &#8220Lakers&#8221 is dedicated to the Los Angeles Lakers and more specifically a memorable showdown between Michael Jordan and a young Kobe Bryant. Jordan then in his final season with the Chicago Bulls faced off against Bryant while wearing the Air Jordan 13 &#8220Chicago&#8221 in 1998. The &#8220Lakers&#8221 colorway features the same color blocking as the original makeup and substitutes the Lakers&#8217 &#8220Forum Blue&#8221 hue along the heel and mudguard. The dotted white leather upper is contrasted by a smooth white leather toe. A holographic emblem denoting Jordan&#8217s &#8220Black Cat&#8221 nickname meant to resemble a panther&#8217s eye can be found on the heel. Black embroidered Jumpman branding appears on the tongue. Black midsole pods finish off the look. The Air Jordan 13 &#8220Lakers&#8221 was released on July 19 2019.
